The optical fibre (110) module (100) contains two front faces (111,112) and jacket surface (113), with at least one front face suitable for light input. The jacket surface has numerous notches (114) for output a part of light input. Preferably the notches are orientated orthogonally to longitudinal direction of optical fibre and their length is less than radius of optical fibre. One notch has linear base (115), whose middle section (116) has greater spacing to jacket surface than each of its end section (117,117').
