PURPOSE: A far-infrared fomentation apparatus that is directly applied to an affected part of a user is provided to improve fomentation effects of far-infrared thermotherapy and thus, to promote blood circulation. CONSTITUTION: The far-infrared fomentation apparatus(A) includes a fomentation sphere(1), a fomentation sphere(1) mounting base(2), and a socket(3). The fomentation sphere(1) and its mounting base(2) are made of rock-salt, elvan or jade. An inserting projection(12) is formed at a lower open end of the fomentation sphere(1), and on the top surface of the fomentation sphere(1) mounting base(2) is a mounting groove(21) through which the insertion projection(12) is detachably inserted into the mounting groove(21). Also, a bulb(31) is placed in the socket(3) so that radiation heat from the bulb(31) heats the fomentation sphere(1) to emit far-infrared rays.
