<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid compression of toner and to suitably supply toner from a toner container 6 to a processing laboratory 14 in accordance with reduction of toner in the processing laboratory 14. <P>SOLUTION: A development device 2 is provided with a stir transport means 28 arranged in the processing laboratory 14 and the toner container 6. The processing laboratory 14 has first and second transport paths 26a and 26b and communicating paths 27a and 27b. The stir transport means 28 is provided with a first rotation helical blade member 30a of the first transport path 26a and a second rotation helical blade member 30b of the second transport path 26b. A toner reception opening 54 positioned above a toner reception region of the first transport path 26a is formed in the processing laboratory 14. A toner discharge opening 62 is formed in the toner container 6. Transport capacity of the first rotation helical blade member 30a can be made lower than that of the second rotation helical blade member 30b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
