<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor, a developing device, an image forming apparatus and a contamination removing member capable of removing contamination adhering on a photoreceptor and an intermediate transfer member while reducing the damages of the photoreceptor and the intermediate transfer member. <P>SOLUTION: The contamination removing member 81 for removing the contamination adhering on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 28 is detachably arranged on a developing cartridge 29 detachably loaded to a drum cartridge 27 for supporting the photoreceptor drum 28, and in removing the contamination, the contamination removing member 81 is loaded to the developing cartridge 29, and the contamination removing part 82 formed of paper of the member 81 is brought into press contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 28 with a comparatively strong pressure through an attaching/detaching mechanism 101 for pressurizing the developing cartridge 29.
