<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable color adjustment desired by a user by an adjustment parameter selected from a plurality of patterns formed by several kinds of adjustment parameters with actions and side effects by input values listed. <P>SOLUTION: An adjustment sheet 1 comprises each color information and printing arrangements built in the color printer beforehand, and forms patterns for discriminating an output environment, a purpose of use, and a color whereby color designation of a memory color or the like is changed. The pattern lists the actions 2 based on the input values for carrying out the color adjustment, and changes of the side effects 3 by the input values. The adjustment parameter for executing the color adjustment forms the plurality of patterns by several kinds of input values with a certain width and outputs the adjustment sheet. One pattern is selected from the plurality of patterns of the adjustment sheet as a selection (adjustment number 4). The adjustment parameter used for forming the pattern is reflected to a printing process of the color printer.
