APOPTOSIS INDUCTING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apoptosis inducing agent which effectively induces apoptosis since an apoptosis-inducing material prevents the survival of dangerous cells such as cancer cells and hence is useful for inhibiting the canceration of cells.

SOLUTION: This apoptosis inducing agent contains a chalcone compound as an active component. Preferably, the chalcone compound derived from the sap of Angelica keiskei is used.
