PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the trouble that the reduction in quality of vessel crewmen is problematic in the operation management of a vessel, and the load of a vessel management company on land is increased by this portion.

SOLUTION: Characteristic data of at least the engine part of the operated vessel are periodically loaded and recorded in an in-vessel personal computer 1 as vessel information at an interval designated by a client, and the recorded data are transmitted to the data server 8 of a system management company 7 set on land side via a communication satellite 6, and stored therein. The vessel information in the data server 8 is accessible from an authenticated client personal computer 10 on land side through the Internet.
