<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital information system for accurately grasping even the case of a medical practice which takes time. <P>SOLUTION: A sub-system 4A provided with a non-portable PC terminal 6 for performing order registration or the like, and a PDA system 4B provided with a portable PDA 8 capable of inputting and outputting data, are connected to a hospital internal information management system 2 for managing information in a hospital, through a LAN 3. A nurse refers to a work schedule list of instillation or the like set in a work schedule, by carrying the PDA 8, and performs work of starting the scheduled instillation at the place of a patient at the bedside which is a practice place. After the practice of the work, the nurse inputs the practice which is accurately registered in a database of the hospital internal information management system 2, and this information can be rapidly obtained even at the occurrence of such a situation that the actual starting time is put off from the scheduled time.
