<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which permits a light emitting element and a reflecting member to be mounted on a substrate and ensures manufacture thereof in higher accuracy and realizes formation thereof with the simplified manufacturing processes. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with a light emitting element, a substrate for mounting the light emitting element which is provided with a conductive pattern formed on the surface and an insulation layer formed on a conductive pattern except for a partial region, and a reflection member, including a reflection surface for reflecting the light emitted in the side direction from the light emitting element, which is partially connected to the region on the conductive pattern where the insulation layer is not formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
