PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize ill effect on maneuvering stability and running performance under a special control state for protecting a driving force transmission system. SOLUTION: In the special control state, it is checked whether or not present torque limiter value exceeds a maximum of allowable torque value at the special control time (S101, S102). When the present torque limiter value exceeds the maximum of allowable torque value at the special control time, the torque limiter value is slowly decreased by subtracting a constant A1 from the present torque limiter value (S103). While, at a transfer time from the special control state to a normal control state, the torque limiter value is slowly increased to the torque limiter maximum value at the normal control time by adding a constant A2 to the present torque limiter value (S101, S104). Thus, rapid torque change at the time of switching of the control state is prevented, and the ill effect on the maneuvering stability and running performance under the special control state is minimized.
