PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an introduction cost attendant on the installation of a pass gate hinders the propagation of IT services. SOLUTION: Considering the fact that a person can pass through a gate only when the gate is open, this information providing system (gate system 7) employing gates outputs information stored in a providing information database 8 to an information storage medium 9 of a user 2 or a user terminal 10 passing through the gate when a door 6 is opened. Further, the gate system 7 is installed on a mobile vehicle 25, and, using each spot at which the mobile vehicle 25 stops for each gate at the spot, contributes to reduction in the number of gates so as to considerably reduce the introduction cost of the introduced system.
