PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a zoom lens having a vibration proof function and capable of obtaining a still image by optically correcting blurs of the still image which may be generated when the zoom lens is vibrated and to provide a television camera having the zoom lens. SOLUTION: In the zoom lens comprising a 1st group having positive refractive power and fixed at the time of variable power operation, a 2nd group having negative refractive power and prepared for variable power operation, a 3rd group having positive refractive power and prepared for correcting image surface variation followed by variable power operation, and a 4th group having positive refractive power and fixed at the time of variable power operation which are arranged successively from the object side, a 4th S group consisting of a part of lens group constituting the 4th group and having negative refractive power is moved in a plane approximately vertical to the optical axis to correct blurs of a photographed image which may be generated when the zoom lens is vibrated and the 4th E group for changing the focal distance of the whole system is arranged on the image surface side as compared with the 4th S group so as to be inserted/ejected.
