PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a lubricant from leaking from both end parts of a sheet-like member interposed between an endless belt and a pressurizing member, forming the uniform layer of the lubricant at the time of the rotation of a fixing member over a long period of time, preventing the increase of sliding resistance between the endless belt and the pressurizing member and preventing a slip between the endless belt and the fixing member and the stains of the lubricant stuck to a sheet. SOLUTION: The fixing device can prevent the lubricant from leaking from both end parts of the sheet-like member interposed between the endless belt and the pressurizing member, form the uniform layer of the lubricant at the time of the rotation of the fixing member over a long period of time, prevent the increase of the sliding resistance between the endless belt and the pressurizing member and prevent the slip between the endless belt and the fixing member and the stains of the lubricant stuck to the sheet. The sheet-like member 40 is provided with a lubricant leakage prevention part 41 for preventing the leakage of the lubricant at least on both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the pressurizing member 3.
