发明名称 STRAIN MEASURING DEVICE USING OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only simplify a device and enhance measuring accuracy but also measure a dynamic strain amount by measuring the strain by applying Brillouin scattering method in which sensitivity against temperature variation is so negligibly small as compared with the sensitivity against the strain amount. SOLUTION: The strain measuring device is provided with a plurality of sensing optical fibers 18 (#1-#n) arranged against the measuring object; a light source 11 for outputting the output light of single wavelength; and a light distributor 13 for distributing the output light to a pump light E and a probe light F. The device is provided with an optical switch 14 for leading the pump light E to any one of the optical fiber 18 (#1-#n) and leading Brillouin scattering light G having a strain information generated in the optical fiber 18 from the optical fiber 18; and a signal processing system 22 for determining a position where the distortion is generated in the object to be measured and the strain amount based on a shift amount of the wave length of the Brillouin scattering light G led by the optical switch 14 against the wave length of the probe light F and an arrangement position of the optical fiber 18.
