PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to smoothly exchange from Stop & Go control to ACC. SOLUTION: When the speed of the own vehicle reaches or has reached control upper limit speed during the Stop & Go control (step S4), and when a controller detects acceleration of an antecedent vehicle as a separating tendency of the antecedent vehicle with respect to the own vehicle (step S5), the controller promotes the driver to operate a change-over switch to exchange the control to ACC (step S6).
