<p>A microchemical system exhibiting a high measurement sensitivity while eliminating the needs for alignment of the optical axis and matching of focal points between a detecting light and an exciting light. The microchemical system comprises a planar member with a channel for containing a sample, a light source for irradiating the sample with an exciting light through a condenser lens, a light source for irradiating a thermal lens created in the sample by the exciting light with the detecting light through the condenser lens, and a means for detecting the detecting light through the thermal lens thus formed, wherein the exciting light source and the detecting light source are connected with the condenser lens through an optical fiber through which the exciting light and the detecting light propagate to the condenser lens. The condenser lens is secured to the planar member with a channel and the optical fiber has a joint capable of disconnecting the exciting light source and the detecting light source, respectively, from the condenser lens.</p> |
