SERVER, DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET

A communication system includes a device (101) and a server (104) those connected to the Internet, which transfers communications between the device (101) and a terminal (102) connectable to the Internet via the server (104). The device (101) transmits a notice packet periodically to the server (104). The server (104) transmits a connection request packet to the device (101) in reply to the notice packet when transfer to the device (101) is requested from the terminal (102). The device (101) transmits a TCP connection request to the server (104) when receiving the connection request packet from the server (104). The server (104) accepts the TCP connection request transmitted from the device (101) to the server (104) in reply to the connection request packet, thus to establish the TCP connection. Thus, the server (104) transfers communications between the terminal (102) and the device (101) on the TCP connection after the TCP connection is established.
