The filter element has a filter frame (11) with filter material (12) fitted in it. The filter frame is divided into two part frames (111, 112), which are movably connected along one frame edge by a film hinge (14). This connection is airtight. The film hinge may be made in one with the part frames, or may be connected to them by injection molding.
