PURPOSE: A barrier structure and a method for forming the same are provided to utilize spare time and permit easy road working by building the base structure after pre-production of a basic structure of the barrier separating road and footway. CONSTITUTION: The barrier structure is provided by a step(S1) of boring a foundation ground; a second step(S2) of preparing a basic structure of the barrier; a third step of building the basic structure on the foundation ground(S3); and a fourth step(S4) of forming the barrier into groove at upper end of the build basic structure. The obtained structure comprises grooves; I-bolts inserted into both sides of the grooves at equal distances to conveniently move; a concave portion lengthwise at one end while formed with a convex portion at the other end.
