COOLING CONTROL METHOD OF TAIL END PART OF HOT COIL

PURPOSE: A cooling control method of tail end part of hot coil is provided to effectively secure a target coiling temperature by accurately calculating a special control application starting position on the tail end part of the hot coil when performing special cooling control on a run out table. CONSTITUTION: The cooling control method comprises a step of making out special cooling control information by receiving rolling information of a hot rolled strip that is being rolled from a finishing rolling mill control calculator; a step of measuring moving speed and temperature of the hot rolled strip that is being rolled and receiving position of the tail end part of the hot rolled strip; a step of calculating proceeding length of the top end part of the hot rolled strip and a residual length of the tail end part of the hot rolled strip; a step of comparing the length calculated in the length calculation step with the length made out from the cooling control information; and a step of operating a cooling facility(5) according to the length compared in the comparison step, wherein the residual length of the tail end part of the hot rolled strip is calculated using distance values between crop shear(6) and respective stands installed at finishing rolling mills(2) and FDT (finish delivery temperature) measuring means(4), thickness of the strip at the output side of shearing part, and a target thickness of the strip.
