PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the frame strength of a thin display apparatus of a type to flatly join a display section and a console section. SOLUTION: The display apparatus is provided with the display section 1, the console section 11 disposed under the display section 1, a rotational mechanism 23, and a stand 21. The apparatus has a vertical frame which is two vertical frames 41 and 41 which extend in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the juncture 30 between the display section 1 and the console section 11 disposed under the display section 1 and is formed by extrusion working, and a first transverse frame 43, second transverse frame 45, and third transverse frame 57 which are respectively connected to the vertical frames 41 and 41 and extend perpendicularly successively from above to the vertical frame 41 within the console section 11.
