PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the structure of the cylinder head of a water-cooled internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: In this water-cooled internal combustion engine, a camshaft 15 for a cam 15a operating intake/exhaust valves is installed in a cylinder head 2. An ignition plug 18 is installed adjacent to the extension of the axis of the camshaft 15, and an outlet port 19 for cooling water fed from a water jacket 2a formed in a cylinder head 2 to a radiator is provided adjacent to the ignition plug 18.
