PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication device of an internal combustion engine having an overflow oil passage to guide a lubricating oil overflowing from a lubricating oil tank to the suction inlet of a recovery pump in the internal combustion engine in which the lubricating oil dropped to and accumulated at the bottom part of a crankcase is fed to the lubricating oil tank by the recovery pump and fed from the lubricating oil tank to each part of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This lubrication device of the internal combustion engine comprises the recovery pump sucking the lubricating oil dropped to and accumulated at the bottom part 71j of the crankcase after lubricating the parts of the internal combustion engine from a pump suction inlet opening to the bottom part of the crankcase and feeding to the lubricating oil tank 70, a feed pump feeding the lubricating oil from the oil tank 70 to the parts of the internal combustion engine, and the lubricating oil tank 70 formed integrally with the crankcase which is separated from a crank chamber 59 by a partition wall projected from the inside wall of the crankcase. The lubricating device of the internal combustion engine also comprises the overflow oil passage 75 for guiding the lubricating oil overflowing from the upper edge 73a of the partition wall of the lubricating oil tank 70 to the suction inlet of the recovery pump.
