PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flip-up type gate that can eliminate a disadvantage such as an accident caused by a forward projection of a door and widen a usable space inside the door by minimizing the projection, and can offer more reliable opening/closing motion of the door by opening/closing the door without crossing main arms and auxiliary arms. SOLUTION: The flip-up type gate 1 comprises posts 2, the main arms 8 pivotally supported on posts 2, the door 11 turnably mounted on the main arms 8, coupling members 16 pivotally coupled to the main arms 8, the auxiliary arms 21 pivotally coupled to the door 11 and pivotally coupled with the coupling members 16, and coupling guiding means 26 coupling the coupling members 16 and the auxiliary arms 21 to the posts 2 for pivotal motion and for movement in inclined directions Q and guiding a movement of ends 23 in the inclined directions Q.
