PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser element mounting method which can accurately position semiconductor laser elements to be arranged in an array state. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser element mounting method related to this invention is implemented as follows. A mount 40 is prepared, with element positioning marks 42, 43 provided in advance for positioning semiconductor laser elements 50, and the mount 40 is attached to the case main body. The semiconductor laser elements 50 are then accurately positioned on the mount 40, with reference made to the positioning marks 42, 43.
