GAS LEAKAGE CHECKING PLUG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate interference by a coupling (10) in a gas leakage checking plug provided with a plug (2) connected to a socket provided in a gas leakage checking apparatus, a protective cap (1) mounted to the plug (2) not used and the coupling (10) for coupling them when the protective cap (1) is mounted to the plug (2). SOLUTION: The coupling (10) comprises a fixed lock (11) fixed to a predetermined location of a shank of the plug (2), a sliding lock (12) slidable in the axial direction of the shank of the protective cap (1) and locked at an opened end so as not to come off and a coupling band (13) for coupling them and comprising a flexible material. A length of the coupling band (13) is equal to a distance between the fixed location of the fixed lock (11) and an end in the plug (2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
