PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire wheel assembly and a support for run flat, which improv durability in run-flat traveling. SOLUTION: In the tire wheel assembly, a pneumatic tire 2 is fit into a rim 1 of a wheel, and the support 3 for run flat composed of an annular shell 4 having leg portions 4b along both sides of a supporting surface 4a while overhanging the supporting surface 4a in a circumference side and elastic rings 5 supporting the leg portions 4b of the annular shell 4 on the rim 1, is inserted in a cavity of the pneumatic tire 2. In the tire wheel assembly, reinforcing bodies 5b with elasticity higher than that of an elastic ring main body 5a are arranged on fitting portions between rim humps of the elastic rings 5 and tire toes.
