METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT AND SYSTEM FOR MICROARRAY CROSS-HYBRIDISATION DETECTION

The present invention concerns a method for determining hybridisation on a microarray and a respective system. The method comprises the steps of conducting in situ fractionation of hybridised target in at least one probe of the microarray by means of at least one wash with a defined stringency. Furthermore, labelling intensity data at or after the in situ fractionation is collected with a defined stringency. The above two steps are repeated, wherein in a subsequence cycle the defined stringency is increased. Moreover, instead of data corresponding to at least the stringency and the respective labelling intensity data obtained by each cycle for said cycles according to the connecting labelling intensity data is generated. Finally, a set of data for determining hybridisation in at least one probe is analysed.
