<p>An elongated missile launcher cell (10a-10d) is structured to allow arraying into multiple-cell array (10). Each missile launcher cell (10a-10d) of the array includes a support structure which accommodates a canisterized missile. Each cell (10a-10d) also includes its own chimney (30a1, 30a2) and exhaust gas plenum, so that it may be used individually. Since each cell (10a-10d) has its own missile exhaust capability, there is no need to keep one or more bays of a missile launcher array (10) vacant to provide for venting of exhaust gases.</p> |
