SUBSTRATE FOR MOUNTING OPTICAL ELEMENT AND ITS FABRICATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A substrate for mounting an optical element and its fabrication method are provided to align a cylindrical lens to an accurate position manually. CONSTITUTION: A groove(31) is formed on one surface of a substrate(30), and a side wall of the groove is inserted slantly to the surface of the substrate. And a stopper(35) is formed on the groove by a photo lithography process, in order to confine a mounting position of an optical element by contacting the optical element mounted in the groove. A part(35a) of the stopper is formed on an upper surface of the substrate, and the other part(35b) of the stopper is formed slantly along the slant side wall of the groove.
