PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting and removing scale of dust collecting pipe is provided to detect scale inside the dust collecting pipe using supersonic waves and remove the detected scale using shock power applied to the dust collecting pipe. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a supersonic wave detection part(10) comprising a supersonic wave probe for detecting whether scale is formed on an inner part of dust collecting pipe or not and thickness of the scale; a supersonic wave removing part(20) comprising a hammer for generating hitting power by magnetization of electromagnets; and a power supply part(40) for alternately moving the supersonic wave detection part and the supersonic wave removing part adjacently to the side of the dust collecting pipe, wherein the supersonic wave detection part further comprises a lowerable and liftable plate elastically supported to a direction that is far away from the dust collecting pipe by spring(11), and a roller(13) idly mounted on an upper part of the lowerable and liftable plate, the supersonic wave removing part further comprises a lowerable and liftable plate(22) elastically supported to a direction that is far away from the dust collecting pipe by spring(21), and a roller(23) idly mounted on an upper part of the lowerable and liftable plate, and the power supply part comprises moving bodies(44,45) which are positioned on an upper part of the rollers, and on the lower surface of which inclination planes(44a,45a) are formed in such a way that the inclination planes(44a,45a) are inclined upward as it goes in a direction in which the inclination planes(44a,45a) come into close contact with each other, a screw shaft(42) mounted on the moving bodies in such a way that the screw shaft passes through the moving bodies, and a rotation motor(46) for rotating the screw shaft.
