摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gear change shock from occurring and the gear change time from getting longer, in the case that the fuel supply is restarted by releasing fuel cut when a high speed side friction engagement device is held in an engagement with a coast down shift. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic pressure of a high speed side friction engagement device is reduced immediately by the release side hydraulic pressure reduction means 114 at the time of coast down shift, and the torque capacity is made to be nearly zero; in the case that the control of the fuel cut means 102 is released and the fuel supply is restarted, when the coast down shift is output in the condition where the fuel supply is stopped by the fuel cut means 102, and the high speed side friction engagement device is retained in an engagement condition by the release side hydraulic pressure control means 112 at the time of coast down shift. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
