<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deck mechanism of a magnetic recording/reproducing device which can be reduced in the entire size, is simple in configuration, and is improved in such a manner that the stable operation in terms of mechanism is made possible. <P>SOLUTION: The deck mechanism includes a main deck, a sub-deck which is provided with a pair of reel disks so as to be loaded/unloaded to and from the main deck, a pole base loading unit which draws out a tape and guides the tape to bring the tape into contact with the head drum side in loading the sub-deck, a pinch roller unit, a brake unit for selectively driving any one reel disk, a main sliding member which is disposed freely slidably back and forth on the main deck, and a main cam gear which cooperatively moves all of the pole base loading unit, the brake unit, and the main sliding unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
