PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent colorant particles at a leading end of an ink guide from adhering and to remove adhered colorant particles so as not to obstruct jetting of ink by stabilizing movement of the ink at the leading end of the ink guide. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording device 10 has a piezoelectric element 13 arranged at the lower side of a bottom part 17, electrodes 14 and 15 arranged at an upper and a lower faces of the piezoelectric element 13 in Figure, a high-frequency power supply 16 for impressing high frequency waves to the electrodes 14 and 15, a substrate 18 for supporting the lower side of the piezoelectric element 13, and a timing signal generating part 19 for generating a timing signal of high frequency waves to be supplied by the high-frequency power supply 16. The vibration of the piezoelectric element 13 is conducted to vibrate the ink guide 12, thereby oscillating the ink in a thin channel 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
