PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology means that can emit circularly polarized light by a high polymer system, realize wider-area light emission and a higher polarization anisotropic factor, and realize linear polarization and circular polarization at the same time. SOLUTION: A spiral liquid crystalline conjugate high polymer develop main chain type liquid crystallinity by introducing an optical active (chiral) group into a side chain of a conjugate high polymer and shows circular polarization dichroism by inducing a spiral structure at the side chain.
