PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a camera and an accessory have their voltages stabilized individually, voltage levels of input and output during a communication do not always match each other to cause a latch-up phenomenon. SOLUTION: In a camera system, a camera device 1 and an accessory device 2 are provided with power source stabilizing means 102 and 201 of stabilizing source voltages of the respective device sides. Further, one of the camera device and accessory device is provided with an instruction transmitting means 103 of sending an instruction for comparing the voltages at a communication input terminal 107 and a communication output terminal 106 of one device for communication with the other device with each other and controlling the output voltage of the power source stabilizing means of the other device so that the voltages at both the terminals become nearly equal to each other. The other device is provided with a voltage control means 202 of controlling the output voltage of the power source stabilizing means of the other device according to the instruction.
