PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of reducing frequency of maintenance and stabilizing combustion of air-fuel mixture further. SOLUTION: The radiant tube burner 1 has a burner body 2 in which air Ai for combustion flows, a radiant tube 3 connected with the burner body 2, and a gas pipe 4 arranged on an inner peripheral side of the burner body 2 to let fuel gas Fu flow in it. A spark plug 5 is arranged on an inner peripheral side of the gas pipe 4, and a gas nozzle 41 injecting fuel gas Fu is arranged in a tip part of the gas pipe 4. An earth electrode 42 is arranged by opposing to a central electrode 51 provided in a tip part of the spark plug 5 in the gas nozzle 41.
