PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which is simple in construction and is a pipe joint for underwater piping to which sealing performance is not required. SOLUTION: The pipe joint is provided with a lock ring housed groove 3 in a receptacle 1 into which an entry 8 including a circumferential protrusion 8b in outer periphery is inserted. The pipe joint is also integrally provided on outer periphery with a centering layer 4 by a foaming resin including elasticity and simultaneously is configured so that one split lock ring 2 within which a layer 5 of the foaming resin is interposed in clearance of a split part 2a is inserted into the lock ring housed groove 3, so that the entry 8 is connected by broadening diameter and deforming the lock ring 2 counter to the elasticity of the centering layer 4, thereby passing through the circumferential protrusion part 8b.
