PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level gauge guide allowing a boss part to be reduced, allowing the elimination of accurate machining of a hole, allowing machining to be facilitated, and allowing to be easily assembled without requiring a press-fitting tool. SOLUTION: In this oil level gauge guide 5, the lower end side thereof is fittedly inserted into the boss part 4 formed on a cylinder block 1, and an oil level gauge 6 is stored therein. The lower end side of the oil level gauge guide 5 is fittedly inserted into the boss part 4 through an O-ring 10, and the upper end side of the oil level gauge guide 5 is supported by a clip 12 installed on a water inlet 11 fitted to the cylinder block 1.
