PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict an abnormal rise in hydraulic pressure in a pressure feeding passage immediately after the cold starting of an engine in chill, and reduce the loss of horsepower and the noise of oil due to the abnormal rise in hydraulic pressure in the pressure feeding passage. SOLUTION: A low temperature hydraulic relief valve 8 is connected in parallel to a hydraulic regulating valve 4 to the pressure feeding passage 3. The low temperature hydraulic pressure relief valve 8 is composed to open/close a hydraulic relief valve element 9 by the temperature sensitive actuation of a temperature sensitive actuator 10. The temperature sensitive actuator 10 permits the valve opening actuation of the hydraulic pressure relief valve element 9 at a low temperature when lubricating oil pressure-fed in the pressure feeding passage 3 gets chill. At a high temperature when a lubricating oil temperature is higher than chill temperatures, the hydraulic relief valve element 9 is actuated to be closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
