PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a disaster preventive knapsack as a hood at disaster occurrence time by arranging a part usable as the hood in a part of the knapsack, in the disaster preventive knapsack. SOLUTION: A hood part 5 is formed by collapsibly installing a side cover 6 inside cover cloth 4 for covering a port part 3 of a knapsack body 1 in a covering shape. At disaster occurrence time, the knapsack is shouldered, and the cover cloth 4 is turned over and brought forward, and after adjusting the length of a string 7 by a restricting ring 10 by opening the side cover 6, a user takes refuge by putting the hood part 5 on a head.
