<p>A walk-in device for a motor-vehicle seat comprises the following: a fixed rail (3) fixed on a floor, a movable rail (4) that is installed on the fixed rail (3) in a manner slidable in a forward/backward direction and to which the seat is fixed, an operation rod (8) that is for adjusting the position of the seat in a forward/backward direction and has a crank section (17), a memory latch (20) rotatably provided on the operation rod (8) at the rear of the crank section (17), a memory rod (21) extending from the memory latch (20) parallel to the crank section (17) of the operation rod (8), a walk-in lever (27) capable of, when the seatback of a seat is tipped forward, moving the crank section (17) of the operation rod (8) and the memory rod (21) together and rotating the operation rod (8) and the memory latch (20) together, and a memory block (19) installed on the fixed rail (3) in a manner slidable in a forward/backward direction and having a hook section (43) that can be released from engagement with the memory latch (20) by rotating the memory latch (20).</p> |
