PURPOSE: An anti theft device for a vehicle with an ETACS(Electronic Timer Alarm Control System) is provided to prevent the vehicle from being robbed by not starting an engine by cutting off power to an engine control unit in an invasion. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle anti theft device is composed of an ETACS(10) for controlling various input timer and alarm functions; a 42V-battery(11) for supplying driving voltage to the ETACS; a DC/DC(Direct Current) converter(12) for converting the 42V of the 42V-battery into 12V; an engine control unit(13) and various system units(14) driven by receiving 12V from the DC/DC converter; an alarm unit(15) for alarm-driving a siren and an alarm by a signal output from the ETACS; and a switching unit(16) turned on/off by the signal input from the ETACS to control the driving of the DC/DC converter. |
