<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device of a thin type which can be easily manufactured, to provide a manufacturing method of the electrooptical device and to provide an electronic device comprising the electro-optical device. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrooptical device 10 provided with a pair of polarizers 14 and an optical element 22, the optical element 22 can perform prescribed image display by making a frame for protecting surroundings of the optical element 22 and a pair of the polarizers interaction with each other.
