<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoulder adjuster having excellent maneuverability at the time of height operation and excellent stability at the time of height fixation, and also having excellent impact absorbency at the time of impact resistance, and ensuring the safety of an occupant, especially when the occupant collides with the shoulder adjuster. <P>SOLUTION: This shoulder adjuster is provided with a guide rail fixed on a body frame, a sliding body engaged with the guide rail and slidably mounted, and a through anchor integrally jointed to the sliding body and holding the intermediate part of a webbing, and adjusts the length of the webbing by changing the fixed position of the through anchor according to the figure of the occupant. The through anchor mounting seat of the sliding body for attaching the through anchor is formed of an impact absorbing material. When impact acts, the through anchor mounting seat is deformed to move the sliding body to a body frame side, thereby impact force can be absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
