<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a human body or a part thereof from being caught between the door and a frame by activating a stopper temporarily and stopping closing action of a door during closing operation of a sliding door, a large-sized gate, a hinged door or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A traveling rail for guiding the traveling of a frame door is provided with a locking recess, and the door is provided with a stopper energized in the direction to be locked with the locking recess. The stopper is locked with the locking recess during closing action of the door, thus the closing action of the door is stopped. An engagement releasing mechanism to release engagement between the locking recess and the stopper is provided in a safety device for closing the door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
