<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems with the case liquid crystal display regions and surface pressure distribution sensors existing in individual modules are set at information terminals, etc.; man-hours for assembly increase; resembling parts, such as control circuits and FPCs (Flexible Printed Circuits), are many and illogic; casing members for fixing respective panels are necessary and therefore the terminals become large. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating substrate is provided thereon with a liquid crystal display region and a fingerprint sensor. Since the control circuits and the FPCs can be made common, the parts count can be reduced and the cost for manufacturing can be reduced. Since excessive picture frames do not exist any more, the occupied area in setting can be reduced. The control circuits, scanners, etc., are arranged in an area ineffective for operation taking the difference of dimension and the ease of use into consideration and are thus effectively utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
