PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus which can stably jet ink to a record medium following a desired jetting frequency, prevents the trouble such as plotting by a low density, can load a recording head of a long life and facilitates maintenance. SOLUTION: A pressure variation suppressor 104 is arranged between an ink supply device 102 and the recording head 103, so that a pressure variation generated at the ink supply device 102 is prevented from being conducted to the recording head 103.
