PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of transmitting information at once from an on-vehicle terminal 10 toward an information center 20 in obtaining information stored in a storage means 23 of the information center 20 by connecting a line for connecting a communication means 12 mounted on the on-vehicle terminal 10 to a center communication means 21 of the information center 20. SOLUTION: In obtaining the information stored in the storage means 23 of the information center 20 by connecting the line for connecting the communication means 12 mounted to the on-vehicle terminal 10, to the center communication means 21 of the information center 20, a control means 13 of the on-vehicle terminal 10 predicts the necessity of connecting the communication means 12 to the information center 20. In the case of determining that there is the necessity while there is the possibility of connection, processing for starting connection of the line to the information center is started in advance, and information is transmitted at once via the line whose connection is completed at a point of time when the information is actually transmitted from the on-vehicle terminal 10 side to the information center 20 side.
