PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently clamp and feed a work and to accurately and efficiently transfer the work to a cutting position for positioning to perform cutting at a predetermined cutting length. SOLUTION: A multi-row structural angle cutting device 1 is provided with a cutting machine 3, a driving means which reverses the work W on a conveyor 5, a freely appearing stopper 13 which contacts and positions a rear end of the work W, a carriage 17 which feeds the work forward with the rear end of the work W after positioned gripped, a work top detecting device which detects the top of the work at a time when the work advances and an arithmetic means 57 which computes the whole length of the work at a time when the top of the work is detected by the work top detecting device 29. The rear end of the work is easily positioned by allowing the work W on the conveyor 5 to be reversed to contact the stopper 13, and the rear end position of the work W is definitely clamped at a high speed by the carriage 17 to improve efficiency as a whole.
